Coventry, despite its importance as a major industrial and immigration centre in Britain, does not possess a comprehensive study of its diverse Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities. This event is an important step to put together a team of community engaged academics and activists that looks at the trajectories of global immigration, activism and asylum that has moulded Coventry into a distinctive post-war city.

Led by Global History and Culture Centre, University of Warwick and Past & Present Fellow Dr Somak Biswas.
